can a metal halide bulb be used in a HPS fixture?
I don’t care much for the orange glow of the HPS. Prefer a more natural whiter light.
It would depend. If the fixture in question requires lamps with internal ignitors you may be able to cross-reference a compatible lamp for the ballast in place.
Otherwise, not.
