For the people against the Mexican people being?
in the USA, I have a question for you. I am a legal resident of the USA and I have a lot of MIXED feelings on this issue. Who do you think is going to work picking the tomatoes in the fields? We have a foundry in town that is very very hot (warehouse – in FL) – melted metal. People will start working there one day and NEVER return because it hot hard work. Who do you think is going to do this work if they all leave? I’m just curious. See, if they do leave, don’t you believe that our agriculture/industry prices will have to go up because they will have to be forced to pay higher wages for such work by a US citizen. Just something to think about – what are your thoughts? Like I said, I have somewhat mixed feelings. Am not “arguing” with anyone.

Do not be ashamed about ‘arguing’ with anyone, – this is America baby, if there’s every a place to find a lot of “free speech” floating around, then this is the place.
I have not been following this story very closely AT ALL. But, I think the most applicable concepts are as follows.
1. We are a nation of laws and representational government. We should be able to pass our laws and expect reasonable enforcement of those laws.
2. As a threat to this democracy, aliens are entering this country, bleeding our resources in regards to education and medical resources, and sometimes voting. Just as much as a threat, our govn’t representatives are ignoring law, and / or trying to change law to suit their political ends.
3. What ever the laws / wages might be, the marketplace will eventually adjust and whether tomatoes cost $2 or $8, is the marketplace to decide. I don’t like poor welfare, corporate welfare, or farmer / immigrant welfare / subsidies.
I personally feel that the republicans LIKE the mexicans, since… it’s their own little minority, and they are more likely vote republican. The democats have their blacks, now we have ours.
I disguising the true costs, the states pay for welfare type monies, while the Federal govn’t reaps huge amounts from the mexicans paying Social Security and then never collecting on it.
