How would you build an anti-artifact deck in Magic the Gathering?
Obviously there are certain cards out there that are destroy target artifact or destroy all artifacts. But flooding a deck with these spells could make it weak against other theme decks. So how would you create a deck to fight a flying themed artifact deck, but still have it being good against other decks?
For example it would do pretty well against any deck in the game (extended – standard), but would woop ass when it came to an artifact deck like this one from duels of the planeswalkers

I have not played in a few years now, but if you want to deal with artifacts the best thing you can do is to keep 2-6 cards on your sideboard and cycle them in based on what desk your opponent is using. Like I said I haven’t been playing so I don’t know if the current type 2 is artifact heavy or not or what cards are currently legal for the format. By keeping cards on your sideboard they are considered part of your desk, but you can’t play them in your standard 60 until you cycle something else out. This is where you can put your situational cards to deal with artifact or maybe a lot of counter spells and such. Also there are cards out there the an opponent must sacrifice an artifact each turn if able and there are cards that destroy target permanent which will let you choose between creature, artifact, land, or enchantment so you have variety on what to destroy based on your opponents deck.
