Can I use a 4 bulb ballast to power 2 bulbs?
I have a few extra GE-432-MVPS-H (programmed start) ballasts and want to use them to swap out my old T12 magnetic ballasts and use T8 bulbs in my existing fixtures. The fixtures I am using only hold two 4 ft. bulbs.
Can I cap off the unused leads and use my 4 bulb ballasts? If so, will the efficiency of my setup be reduced?

Probably not. You may end up destroying the ballast.
