What lighting do I use to light a choir on steps?
The place I can place a light source is 20 feet from the 5 steps that are 35 feet across. I need to shape the light possibly with barn doors. What kind of lights (2 I guess) should I use?
This is for my dad.
Fresnels are flood-type lights that can be shaped (a little) with barn doors. If you’re going for an overall wash so everyone can be seen, fresnels or flood lamps are the way to go.
