And what is the attitude of the LDS Church toward the environmental movement? Does the LDS Church tell us to live in the city instead of the suburbs, walk, bike, and use transit instead of cars, live in high-rise apartments and condos and mixed-use places instead of single-family homes, take the train instead of fly when we travel, plant gardens instead of use the supermarket, be vegetarians instead of eat meat, put the needs of animals before humans, etc.?
I think you are confusing Joseph Smith with Al Gore. It is impossible to do 90% of those things where a lot of mormons live in small Utah towns.. Most mormons are encouraged to have a garden though.
Why would we put the needs of animals BEFORE humans? Why would the Mormon church advocate vegetarianism?
What does the Mormon church have to do with the environmental movement?
Does the Catholic church do these things? Jews? Baptists? Born-again Christians? etc..
There are a lot more of those religions than there are Mormons, and I’m very much confused as to why you asked this question..
