Should I buy a 500 Watt Continuous Studio Light Set – New or a 2 Studio Strobe/Lighting/Flash Portrait Kit 1 for starting a at home studio?

I usually do all of my work outside with natural light and reflectors, so I am new at lighting. The incandescent lights, can I pick these up anywhere? Are tehy just normal incandescent lights?
I use both and depending what I am doing is where I will choose what to use.
