Anybody own a 24″ or 30″ Current USA Nova Extreme 2×24 watt T5 HO 10K light?
On the 24″ model, i would like to know if the sliding docking mounts slide out far enough to fit an aquarium that is 27 1/2″ wide. How far out do they slide? 1″,2″,3″?
On the 30″ model, anybody know the exact measurements of the inside housing? would the inside housing stick out too much on a 27 1/2″ wide aquarium?

I have the 24″ model on my 10 gallon tank.
The docking mounts are pretty wide, I’d say they’re AT LEAST 4 inches. So on the 24″ model, it should fit a 27 1/2″ tank.
A 10 gallon tank is 20″, and I have the 24″ model. Obviously it stocks out 2″ on each side, but the light part stays within my aquarium. So if the 30″ model is over a 27 1/2″ aquarium, the light part should stay within the aquarium.
If you’re on a budget, go with the 24″. If you want more light for your plants/corals, get the 30″ model.
