The Best but cheapest source of light when growing indoor Flowers and Roses?
Does anyone know if walmart or something like that sell them or any good other trusted sources?
The best AND cheapest is natural sunlight (a sunny windowsill).
But this can create a problem with extremes in temperature depending on where you live and outdoor temperatures.
I’ve used 4 foot shoplight fixtures with full spectrum tubes and/or cool white tubes. You can get these at WalMart or any of the home improvement centers.
I chose the 4 foot lengths because for the size, they are cheaper per foot than smaller fixtures.
I made a set of lighted shelves using 3 fixtures to start tomato and pepper seeds indoors, and the heights of the lights above each shelf is adjustable as the plants grow. But the shelves seem to have been taken over by my houseplants now.
When using artificial lights for plants, they have to be pretty close to the plants to get the most benefit, so if you’re growing plants of different sizes, you might need more than 1 set of lights, or to raise smaller plants up on bricks or inverted pots so they’re closer to the lights.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
