What kind of lighting setup should I have in a DR60 Secret Jardin Grow Tent?
I have the Secret Jardin DR60 Grow Tent. I am trying to figure out the best setup for Lighting. The dimensions of the tent are 23.5″ x 23.5″ x 55″. I will be using the Bubbleponics system to grow. There are a few questions I have in regards to the lighting I need.
What is the minimum and maximum amount of wattage recommended for the size of the tent?
What kind of light is recommended for growing; HPS, MH, or LED?
Do you need or is it recommended to get an Air Cooled Reflector?
If I have a low wattage light, do I need to get a Ballasts?

400w max in a DR60. Air cooled reflectors are great if heat is a problem so if you think your gonna have temp issues then get one, the coolstar is a good budget air cooled reflector and is all you need in a DR60, and yes your gonna need a ballast, (keep this outside the tent to lower the temps a bit). Your best bet is to get a dual spectrum bulb (HPS) this will have red and blue spectrum and will do a good job. MH is the best for veg and HPS for flowering but you need a ballast that can run both types of bulbs and not all do, the new digital ballasts will run both but the dual spectrum bulbs are really all you need in that setup and will give good results in veg and flower, sunmaster are good dual specs so look out for these. And forget LEDs they are crap, don’t listen to anyone who says different.
