Would an Led bulb work?
The other day, I was working on my car. I was just fixing a couple of burnt out lights on the deck lid of my 2000 Buick Le Sabre. I was thinking, would Led bulbs work if I installed them, instead of a regular bulb? I understand that the lighting is incandescent so it can reflect and light up the whole lens. If I had an Led bulb would there just be a little spot lit up behind each lens, or would it look the same? I doubt I will do it, but it was just a thought.
LEDs are more focused, so they are brighter in that area, but dont necessarily light the hole lense unless they are the spider led lights that open up after being put in. They should work, but if you put too many LEDs in the system you need to put a resistor on it if your car doesnt have an electronic flasher.
